Acceptable Use Policy | LADFAH

1. Purpose

This policy is intended to protect LADFAH, its customers, users, systems, infrastructure, and data from misuse while supporting responsible and legitimate use of the Services.

2. Authorized Use

You may use the Services only for lawful business, engineering, analytical, operational, or professional purposes; in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; within your organization’s authorization and access permissions; and in a manner that does not compromise security, integrity, availability, or performance.

You are responsible for activity performed through accounts, credentials, integrations, API keys, devices, or systems under your control.

3. Prohibited Activities

Illegal or Harmful Activity

You may not use the Services to facilitate fraud, theft, deception, harassment, abuse, exploitation, or other unlawful activity.

Security Abuse

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, infrastructure, or data;
  • bypass authentication, authorization, security controls, or usage limits;
  • probe, scan, or test systems for vulnerabilities without explicit authorization;
  • distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, malicious scripts, or harmful code;
  • intercept or monitor data without authorization;
  • attempt credential theft, phishing, password harvesting, or impersonation.

Interference with Services

  • overload, disrupt, disable, damage, or impair the Services;
  • circumvent rate limits or technical restrictions;
  • interfere with another customer’s or user’s access to LADFAH systems.

4. Unauthorized Data Collection

You may not unlawfully collect, process, store, transmit, or disclose personal information, confidential business information, proprietary information, authentication credentials, financial information, or protected or regulated information unless you have appropriate authorization and a lawful basis to do so.

Important

Do not submit passwords, private keys, authentication secrets, security credentials, or similar sensitive access information through general LADFAH contact forms.

5. Intellectual Property and Software Restrictions

Unless expressly authorized by LADFAH or applicable law, you may not copy or reproduce proprietary LADFAH software, reverse engineer or decompile it, remove proprietary notices, resell or sublicense the Services, create unauthorized derivative products, or extract substantial portions of LADFAH proprietary databases, interfaces, documentation, or content.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

LADFAH Services may include artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, computer vision, document intelligence, engineering analytics, or automated recommendation capabilities.

Users must apply appropriate professional judgment. AI-generated or algorithmically generated outputs should not automatically replace qualified engineering judgment, professional safety assessments, regulatory requirements, operational procedures, required human approvals, equipment manufacturer requirements, or emergency-response procedures.

7. Safety-Critical and Operational Use

Certain LADFAH solutions may support drilling, production, asset management, HSE, maintenance, inspection, environmental, emergency-response, or other industrial operations.

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, LADFAH Services should not be treated as the sole control mechanism for safety-critical equipment or processes. Customers and users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate operational controls, safety systems, alarms, emergency systems, engineering verification, human oversight, and regulatory compliance.

8. Customer and Third-Party Data

You may only upload, process, or transmit data that you have the right and authority to use. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party data complies with confidentiality obligations, data-protection requirements, intellectual-property rights, contractual restrictions, and licensing terms.

9. API and Integration Use

  • Do not expose API credentials publicly.
  • Do not share credentials with unauthorized parties.
  • Do not circumvent API limits.
  • Do not use integrations to gain unauthorized access to third-party systems.
  • Do not submit malicious or abusive automated requests.

LADFAH may impose technical limits to maintain security and platform stability.

10. Impersonation and Misrepresentation

You may not use LADFAH Services to impersonate another person or organization, falsely claim affiliation with LADFAH, misrepresent the origin of data or communications, or create misleading or fraudulent records.

11. Export Controls and Restricted Use

Users are responsible for complying with applicable export-control, trade-sanction, and restricted-party requirements relevant to their use of LADFAH Services.

12. Monitoring and Enforcement

LADFAH may investigate suspected violations of this policy and, where reasonably necessary, restrict functionality, suspend access, terminate accounts, block abusive traffic, revoke API access, or require corrective action. Serious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

13. Reporting Misuse

If you believe LADFAH Services are being used in violation of this policy, contact [security@ladfah.com].

14. Changes to This Policy

LADFAH may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, law, security requirements, or Services.
